About Me

My love of music started at an early age when my oldest brother turned me on to legends such as Jimmy Hendricks, The Doors, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Who etc. By the age of 14 I was turned on to this new type of music called Hip-Hop, I was in love, I submerged myself into the culture beginning with breakdancing, then I heard Jazzy Jeff do a turntable solo, from then on I became a Dj, matching beats, scratching, juggling beats. I became a turntablist and competed locally and in DMC DJ competitions. At the age of 19 I was turned on dance music or club music, higher bpm's and a lot of energy. Then out of all that dance and high energy music emerged a new type of music called "House" The term was originated by a man by the name of "Frankie Knuckles" And so began my passion for this hypnotic type of music that transforms you and takes you away. I've been a House DJ from then on. I took a 14 year leave of absence from the scene an started back up again 5yrs ago, I've been mixing beats in the Santa Fe, NM area for the past 5 years playing just about every club out there. I'm currently resident DJ at an elegant Club called "The Den" with aspirations of touring and producing my own tracks and remixing tracks of other artists...My love of this music and its culture is undeniable. It's message of peace, love, harmony through community, dancing and music is a very powerful thing, something I wish everyone would experience..
