On-Air Personality

Party 934 is looking for unique, forward-thinking individuals to remotely-produce independent and non-traditional radio programs. No experience is required as training is provided. This position is remote in nature and a presence in our office is not required - in other words, all of our on-air personalities stream their programs from home.

Candidates will be programming and presenting of an exciting, entertaining, and informative radio program that you create. It could be music, talk, or a little bit of both. At Party 934, we allow our personalities to have a personality; the station takes a hand-off approach to programming, and thus, on-air personalities have near complete creative control.

Our parent organization, The Freeform Radio Initiative, is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt nonprofit organization. Thus, all our broadcasts are commercial free. Unlike other stations, we do not charge any fees to our on-air personalities, or to the thousands of independent musical artists featured 24/7 on Party 934.

Our broadcasts are heard on the internet, mobile devices, and on 94.9 FM in the Hudson Valley. Our FM stream is owned and operated by a third-party underwriter and supporter of our organization.

Music Director

Party 934 is looking for an organized, forward-thinking individual to manage our music library. This position is remote in nature and a presence in our office is not required - in other words, all work can be performed from anywhere in the world.

The Music Director will be working closely with the station's on-air personalities and with independent artists, bands, and musical groups from all over the world. Ideally, the Music Director will already have connections and experience within the radio, music, and entertainment industries. Our Music Director will primarily be responsible for getting the best radio-friendly independent music to our on-air personalities.

At Party 934, we allow our on-air personalities to have a personality; the station takes a hand-off approach to programming, and thus, on-air personalities have near complete creative control. This means that the Music Director will be working with many genres of music - from hip hop, to jazz, to country, to EDM. While the Music Director is not expected to be an expert in every musical genre, we fully expect him or her to have a open and varied musical tastes.
